Students' Problem-Solving Ability Using Picture Story Contexts

AbstrakKemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menjadi salah satu komponen yang perlu dianalisis untuk mengetahui kemampuan peserta didik terhadap topik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pada materi bangun datar, pengukuran panjang dan berat. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data melalui tes, kuesioner, dokumentasi. Keseluruhan tersebut dideskrispsikan oleh peneliti. Subjek dalam kelas IV di sekolah swasta Palembang berjumlah 14 orang diperoleh purposive sampling. Hasil dari datar sebesar 75,59% artinya berkategori baik. Kemampuan ditingkatkan terutama sesuatu sifatnya konkret dengan membiasakan memberikan soal-soal berkonteks cerita mengarah ke AKM, PISA, HOTS kedepannya. This study aimed mathematical skills on flat shapes, measuring length and weight. descriptive qualitative used tests, questionnaires, document analysis collect data. All were analyzed described by researcher. The participants fourth grade students in private school selected through sampling technique. revealed that students’ abilities shapes measurements scored 75.59%, which was categorized “good”. graders need be improved, especially concrete objects inuring story-context questions promote future.
